The TEAM SL 1P cockpit is the logical next step in the evolution of modern road bike aerodynamics and a key component of the performance optimizations for the new MERIDA SCULTURA CF5 models. The one-piece handlebar-stem unit combines maximum efficiency, low weight, and precise handling in an uncompromising design.

Made from high-quality carbon fiber and developed exclusively for the SCULTURA 10K, TEAM, and 9000 models, the cockpit impresses with outstanding aerodynamics, a weight of only approximately 320 g, and a clean, race-oriented look. The fully integrated cable routing reduces drag and ensures a clean cockpit without any visible cables.

WIRE PORT / CABLE INTEGRATION

The fully internal cable routing is a key feature of the TEAM SL 1P cockpit's aerodynamic efficiency. All cables run invisibly through the handlebars and stem and are routed directly into the frame via the WIRE PORT headset.
The result: a clean look, optimally protected cables and a measurable saving of up to two watts – a real advantage in races and on long rides.

INTEGRATED SPACERS

The specially developed, two-part spacer solution allows for flexible handlebar height adjustment with fully integrated cable routing. The spacers lock securely in place when installed, but can be easily separated without having to disconnect or shorten any cables.
Ideal for riders who want to fine-tune their setup without compromising on aerodynamics or ease of maintenance.

FORCE DIFFUSER

The FORCE DIFFUSER is permanently integrated into the TEAM SL 1P cockpit and reliably protects the carbon steerer tube from point loads. The precisely manufactured metal sleeve distributes clamping forces evenly and effectively reduces material fatigue – for maximum safety and durability, even under racing conditions.
