About Ape Zero
Who is Ape Zero?
Ape Zero is a small, specialized bike shop in the heart of Vienna. Our team has many years of experience in the cycling industry and brings extensive expertise in advice, assembly, and service.
What do you specialize in?
We specialize in high-quality Merida road and gravel bikes, complemented by carefully selected accessories. Our focus is on finding the perfectly suited bike for each rider, tailored to riding style, usage, and individual needs.

Consultation & Bike Fitting
Do you offer in-store personal consultations?
Yes. We provide detailed consultations in our store in 1090 Vienna and help you find the right bike for your riding style, purpose, and budget.
Do I need an appointment for a consultation?
No. You can drop by anytime during our opening hours. No appointment is needed for a detailed consultation—we’ll take the time to assist you as soon as you’re in the store.
Do you offer bike fitting, and how does it work?
Yes. We provide a static hybrid bike fitting that combines your body measurements, biomechanical analysis, and our extensive experience. After precisely measuring you, we use Shimano Bike Fitting software to determine the optimal riding position based on your data. We then manually adjust your bike—everything from saddle height and setback to reach, handlebar position, and precise cleat alignment.
Can I test bikes on-site?
Yes. You can test ride different models with us to directly compare geometry, handling, and ride feel.
Shipping & Orders
Can I order all bikes online?
Yes. All models can be conveniently ordered online—fully pre-assembled, checked, and securely packaged.
Where does Ape Zero deliver to?
We deliver throughout Austria and Germany. Alternatively, you can pick up your bike directly at our store in 1090 Vienna.
How are the bikes delivered?
Our mechanics fully assemble each bike, carry out a quality check, and package it securely for transport. At home, only minimal adjustments are needed.
